So yes, 254 linked to this on MJ, but why not start a thread where everyone can post interesting little bits they find from the site.

Basically everything you could possibly want to know about TV shows and what makes them.
Like, for example, I now know the opposite of 'jumping the shark' is 'growing the beard'. Somehow this is an example of that:
Peanuts: in the first few years after its 1950 debut, it was a basic gag strip about children, with a few odd quirks (a kid playing Beethoven on a toy piano, a smart dog, etc.). Then in a 1956 sequence, Charlie Brown got his kite caught in a tree, and was so angry he decided to just stay there. This went on for over a week, with other characters walking by and making sarcastic or inane comments. Charles M. Schulz himself later identified this sequence as the moment when the strip's unique brand of humor finally took shape.

I love that Scrubs hung a lampshade on their Beard Growth. By having Zach Braff grow a beard, and then mention it as a point of change.
But now I can't watch or read anything without thinking in tropes. Combine that and gearchanges, and all of my entertainment suddenly gets overanalysed.

I manage to only call out obvious stuff, something that I tended to B.T.T. anyway.

And here I was thinking Tropes was addictive...
These remind me a lot of the weblog that rips on Marmaduke.

Yeah, last night I got into the video game articles again, now I appreciate THOSE GODDAMNBATS, THE IMMOVABLE WALL OF DEATH and THAT ONE BOSS (in which one company, Atlus, has it's own section >_>)

I just recently discovered this page on Good Bad game bugs, it's utterly amazing:
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GoodBadBugs
Like how you can glitch the Sonic & Knuckles mini-boss music into appearing in Sonic 3 since it was actually already coded into the game, or that Pokemon glitch I mentioned in the other thread.

You should all read these pages:
To get pumped, read the Crowning Moment of Awesome (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Sugarwiki/CrowningMomentOfAwesome) page.
To feel all warm and fuzzy, read the Crowning Moment of Heartwarming (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/SugarWiki/CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming) page.
And then there's the Crowning Moment of Funny (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/SugarWiki/CrowningMomentOfFunny).
Made an addition to a comment about pro wrestling, but otherwise lost an hour and a half...

oh god i want to go watch buffy now.
spike has so many moments of awesome.
You're not friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love 'til it kills you both. You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each other 'til it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends. Love isn't brains, children, it's blood — blood screaming inside you to work its will. I may be love's bitch, but at least I'm man enough to admit it.
Buffy: What are you doing here? [Spike begins to answer] Five words or less.
Spike: [Pauses, then, counting on his fingers] Out... for... a... walk. [Pauses again] ...Bitch.
oh god this shit's worse than wikipedia

I actually remember that moment.
If there's a random special on the Buffy boxsets, I'd totally get them.

There is, from JB online, 179 for the entire series (it's 210 in stores so it's cheaper even with postage). I have Buffy and Angel incoming (h)
I love tropes, but I hate that there is way too much information to sort through with any consistency: you click links and click links and click links; I have 30 opened & unread pages in firefox... O_o
Found this in Crowning Moments of Awesome and thought I'd share:

This made me sad as far as Mythbusters go
Adam and Jamie did "Myth Busters Live" as a benefit for the High School where Jamie's RL wife works. During the Q & A, Adam said firmly "We're not friends; we don't hang out, we don't go to dinner together." But I did get that they respected each others' skills.
I guess it's not unreasonable that they aren't pals, but that comment just seems so...negative.

Well, Jamie is/was his boss. I imagine their working relationship isn't that much different than the norm, bar the blowing up of stuff.

Reading through the Pro Wrestling section, naturally.
One particularly funny promo by Kurt Angle had him convinced that, since he was a beloved American hero and his opponent, John Cena, was drawing massive amounts of X Pac Heat, he could say anything he pleased and still have the crowd on his side. He decided to test the theory by commenting that he does not like "the black people", and musing that if he could make one historical figure tap out, it'd be Jesus. And yes, the crowd was still on his side.
Well, that's an easy 3 or 4 hours on tropes...
I made several additions, too, and I have this strange feeling of satisfaction knowing that I made those entries first :)
Oh god I need a life...

TELL US WHAT ENTRIES YOU MADE
I added a Terminator 2 entry to, um, The Reveal (or The Big Reveal), and a few House entries to the main House page and also Cuckoo Nest.

Some "hilarious" PCPP in-joke, I'm sure.
Is there a trope anywhere for a group of men who constantly felate eachother?

xkcd covered this phenomenon (http://xkcd.com/609/), too. Direct quote from Fenrir after I linked him to it:
I clicked on that link at 1am... and was up until sunrise. Bastard.
