Rehash of the last computer thread I made.

I found a copy of 3Dmark Vantage (Vista or Win7 only) to share:

c0ldsh4r3z.blogspot.comNote: the keygen displays an invisible code in the middle box, just copypaste into the Registration box in the installed Vantage.

I tested it with a single 4850, then 4850 Xfire with some surprising results.

Single score was 5285, the average frames were about 8-12 with no displayed framerate much higher than 26 at any given point, and flawless physics depiction (water effects, etc).

The score for the Xfire combo ended up being 9218, which is a little lower than I was expecting given the results of the single test. Framerate was as high as 50 a few times in the two tests and rarely dropped below 20, though the physics-based effect were utterly shot: water and smoke were both artifacting and behaving unexpectedly.

Not sure how to go about rectifying that, though I've had no similar problems in any game that I've played on here.

I'll probably retest with a small OC and see what happens there: I don't expect much, as I've been having stability issues with the previous OCs I've attempted.

You will never get twice the power from a dual card setup, it's pretty much impossible. I'm actually a little surprised that it scaled that well, but I guess if it didnt work for the leading benchmarking program, what would it work on~
