daizaemon once fought someone on a shooting spree by using a dead man as a shield, then pummeling him with his patented ~BACK ATTACK, the gunman pulls another gun, daizaemon runs at him, dodges bullets, hits him, the gunman manages to hit him with a few shots, daizaemon CHOKES A BITCH, gunman starts shooting at daizaemon's legs POINT BLANK and daizaemon just keeps tanking bullets and choking a bitch until his legs finally give before getting shot in the face.

and then gantz brings him back and he proceeds to be the only member of the team that isn't an absolute whinging pussy (his key fights mainly consist of him not using any weaponry and just beating aliens up) and even becomes a father figure to a young boy, and when he has the oppurtunity to leave gantz he instead brings someone back and stays to keep protecting the kid.

Watching transformers energon I will say this the story is great and the animation is tops but cell shading the transformers was so wrong if they had left it animated like armada this would have been a great sequel!

Also been reading Suikoden 3 the manga series it does a great job telling the best suikoden story I ever played and the way it gets into the depth of not only the choosen 3 but of luc and his crew's agenda is awesome this would make a one hell of a great anime series!!

Just watched the first Rebuild of Evangelion movie, was pretty awesome. It's awesome to see some of the scenes from the original series looking amazing in their remade glory, I said 'whoaaa' quite a few times.

The second movie is also pretty boss. The redesigned angels are a lot better this time around. A few things had me a bit confused in the second, though (additional characters, etc)

Anyway yeah, just watched it and it was pretty sweet. They've changed a shitload like the European pilot chick with glasses, Auska now piloting the rogue Eva/Angel, the beserk-mode now being manually driven instead of the Evangelions just doing it for the hell of it.

It's also more Character driven, with a kind of romantic spark evolving between Shinji and Rei..

Gonna look up the release date for the third in a sec, should be awesome.

Only ever saw the series a few times and havn't read the manga, but I never noticed a spark between Shinji and Rei. She seemed like an emotionless shell most of the time but in 2.0 she seems to, like she said, be changing. Becoming more 'human' I guess. Plus the whole 'HOLY SHIT I MUST SAVE YOU' thing when Unit 00 was eaten, which was also waaaay different.

Well the manga is already almost 600 chapters long, and the author has stated he's probably over half way through. Furthermore why would he end it, it's the number one selling manga in Japan.
