I did a Bourne marathon yesterday that was fun.

Honest question, Rae: how does Ultimatum hold up?

I saw it at the cinema in the first row (shouldn't have bothered), and had little-to-no idea what the fuck was going on...

I didn't think thaaat much of it when I first saw it, but it's still a solid movie. I honestly don't mind the shakey-cam business in the fight scenes that much, it's not that hard to follow, although asian cinema had proved it pointless decades ago. The plot is a little weaker than the previous 2, they had even less reason to pursue Bourne than ever, however that poor bastard was put through far worse in the books really (I mean the CIA kidnapped his wife to force him to complete some mission) so it still kinda works in the theme of the 'Bourne world'.

My mum made a pretty good observation, he barely changes his clothes in the movies, it's funny since maintaining wardrobe continuity is one of the most painstaking jobs in the movies but here they have a free pass to forget about it. Bourne in the books was meticulous about keeping anonymous he was throwing away and stealing new jackets and pants every few chapters.
