Many people are well aware of Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus, a film made by The Asylum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Asylum) a studio renowned for making Mockbusters. Mockbusters are essentially cheap B-Movies made to ride on the coattails of big budget features. An example we're all aware of would be Snakes on a Train.

I raise this topic because I personally believe, based on the poster alone, that they have succeeded in surpassing the big budget feature they are aping;

Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus was shit though, my enthusiasm for this is not particularly high, even given how HOLY FUCK SHIT MOTHER JESUS LOVING SON OF NPH THIS IS AWESOME that cover looks.

Aran was wrong, Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus was awesome. Lorenzo Lamas was too awesome, and the Sulu impersonator; tremendous.

They're releasing a sequel Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1705773/) starring Robert Picardo (Star Trek... Voyager?) and Jaleel White (mutha fuckin Urkel)

The Megalodon has survived its battle with the giant octopus from the previous film. But now, a new prehistoric terror is discovered deep in the jungles of Africa

Should be out in time for Christmas. Can't wait.
