like it says on the can, baby
My gigging setup is a Marshall 2203KK head. I can't even remember the model of the cab I use, lol. It's a Marshall, cost me around $450 (Which was a decent price) but I was thinking about moving to an ENGL possibly, either the Fireball or the Powerball.
Guitar is a custom-built handmade guitar of my own design, solid-bodied mahogany with Dunc Livewires pickups and Ibanez styled shark tooth fret inlays. The only pedal I use live at this stage is the Dimebag sig Crybaby, which is incredibly solid. I just use the amp's distortion channel at the moment because it's pretty solid but the MXR Wylde overdrive pedal I played with today + another MXR pedal that, once again, I have forgotten the name of, mixed with the absolute slightest touch of reverb had a really fucking nice lead sound... Good for cutting through the mix, yo. Can anybody recommend any other good pedal combos for a really sharp and aggressive metal lead tone?
The guitars/other shit I own is -
Jackson KV (Pre fender model w/ sunburst finish, absolutely beautiful, the fucker is older than I am and plays like a dream)
Jackson JS30 KV1 - entry model Jackson, not the greatest BUT, it has Dunc Livewires in it too so it sounds fucking nice. Currently sporting a snapped tuning peg that I need to replace.
Knockoff Gibson Explorer
Knockoff Jackson Rhoads (currently in several pieces, ready to be stripped down, masked and re-painted in tiger stripes)
Knockoff strat, signed by Dragonforce (lol)
Silver blue glittery ukelele (Metal as fuck)
Some casio keyboard
